Stormy weather tests Lorain County 4-H camp on Kelleys Island
Lorain and Erie County 4-H members faced a June storm at the Kelleys Island camp, capacity 144, hosting 123 senior encampment youths. Activities ran indoors despite waves, with mosaics, leatherwork, and nature talks in the dining hall and log museum. Sheila Hanville and Dick Blaine appear among campers enjoying meals and games despite rough conditions.
