Obituary: Joel T. Smith 1946 2024 Vermilion resident
Joel T. Smith 77 of Vermilion died June 13 2024 at Wade Park Hospital Cleveland after a three year ALS battle. He was born October 10 1946 in Lorain and served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He worked 25 years at WSOS in Fremont and ran North Coast Security from 1996 to 2010. He is survived by wife Diane and children Anthony and Shane, stepsons Brett Matthew Kyle, five grandchildren and a sister and brother. Funeral set June 19 at Gluvna Shimo Hromada Funeral Chapel Lorain with visiting hours 2 to 6 pm and service at 6 pm. Memorials to donate als. org.
