Subpoenas issued for Lorain housing trial of 4 defendants
Fifteen witnesses were subpoenaed for the trial of the remaining four of 16 indicted in the Lorain federal housing program case. The trial begins June 22 before Retired Judge Richard M. Markus. Defendants include Elio Jacobozzi Sanford Prudoff Anthony Rodgers and Cleon Elliott.

Prosecutors outline trials for Elliott and others in rapid developments
County Prosecutor Gregory White said Elliott will be tried by a jury while the other three defendants face court trials. Four of 16 defendants were fined 500 dollars plus costs after pleas or guilty outcomes. Theodore Ristas and Theodore Patouhas tied to Koury real estate were found guilty after no contest pleas. Gasper Flores a and Robert Mounts, Lorain housing contractors, pleaded guilty to miscellaneous offenses. Charges against Andre Fernandes and Ronald Gold were dismissed at the assistant prosecutor's request. Ivancie and Carde Sidler had immunity and dismissal for testimony. Remaining defendants Svete, Michalsky, and Rodgers face pre trials June 23 before Judge Markus.
