Ohio budget: tax credit freeze threatens historic projects
Critics say a two year halt to the historic rehabilitation tax credit in Ohio’s budget could derail major developments including the Atlas Building and Julian residential towers in Columbus. Democrats push to restore credits while supporters note ongoing projects will be honored. The program has supported 238 projects since 2007 and created thousands of jobs across the state.
