Community paper collection set for June 17
Spirit of 76 Past American Legion announces a community wide paper drive Monday evening June 17 at 6 45 p m. Robert Weber chairs the committee assisted by Frank Clara and Virgil J Fortney. Papers in bundles or boxes to be placed at the march. Night program tonight closes the third annual Gurf Scout Day Camp at Westlake Park with a 2 p m start and 7 p m picnic supper. Activities include a camp demonstration, skits, folk dancing, songs, and poster awards by Mrs A H Binder with camp paper distributed by Mrs Ivan Downey. The Learn To Swim campaign runs June 24 through July 3 with transportation by Spirit of 76 Post American Legion for Wellington youth, led by Russell Buck. S lists many volunteers and organizers from Bay Village and Elyria chapter of Red Cross.

Scouts Entertain Change Under Direction of Shook
War TI and 43 Girl Scouts entertained Wellington Grange Wednesday evening with folk dancing speeches and songs. A contribution was made to the Grange Mudént fund and plans discussed for future activities. Roscoe Oney noted many youths plan to join the P of H. Mrs A C Norrig hosted a parlor gathering at Isaly's with treats. A business meeting donated to Red Cross and a fruit basket given. Members voted on new members and dye experiments discussed for Rainbow effects.
