Camp Directors Plan Varied YWCA Play Days Program

Camp schedule spans June 29 to July 10 with swimming arts and crafts games dancing movies singing dramatics hikes and cook outs led by Mrs Joseph Gawn as camp director and Mrs Guiden Smith plus a group of aides and student helpers. Registration at YWCA Hall June 29 to July 10 from 9 am to 12 pm. A medical exam is required at 12:20 pm June 30 and a ten day camp fee of three dollars with 25 cents for the examination.

Miss Schmitkens to Wed August 16 in Elyria

Miss Schmitkens former Elyrian will marry Gorgon Netheren on August 16. The ceremony at First Methodist church follows her June shower hosted by relatives. Nethercut, a graduate student, and Schmitkens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Caro Schmitkens, have ties to Battle Creek and Ann Arbor.

Nurse to Teach Prenatal Class in Lorain County

Mrs. Charles Edwards RN will lead the fifth prenatal class sponsored by Lorain County Planned Parenthood Association. Topic is Breast Feeding and Formula Feeding. Wrights Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary

Mr and Mrs Walter Wright of 1844 East 32nd Street Lorain observe fifty years of marriage on Wednesday June 17 inviting friends relatives and neighbors to call two time slots. They married June 17 1903 in Huron with Ada Shepard and Walter Wright as attendants. Their daughter Edith Ford and granddaughter Lorna Ford live nearby. Mr Wright has served as county treasurer and in state officials groups while Mrs Wright pursues ceramics and sewing with their daughter teaching ceramics.
