Boy, 42 youngest to get heart transplant
A 42 year old boy named J P Lovette from Denver becomes the world’s youngest heart transplant recipient. Surgeons at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan performed the five hour operation with magnifying eyeglasses to view the tiny heart. Officials said he is in critical but stable condition and improving though the coming days are crucial for possible organ rejection.
