Whisky danger after babysitter feeds underage boy
A 9 year old boy, Michael Delridge of Elyria, was found unconscious after allegedly drinking a glass of whisky and wine given by a 17 year old babysitter during an evening visit on Case Avenue. He remains in serious condition at Elyria Memorial Hospital while police question the girl. no charges filed yet. The incident involved several neighborhood children and a nearly empty whisky bottle found at the scene.

Third teen dies in Olmsted Falls crash at Columbia and Cook
In Olmsted Falls a high speed crash at Columbia and Cook roads killed James Harris, 18, and Jill Jackson, 15, and left Richard Madsen, 17, in critical condition. Madsen, who died at Southwest General Hospital, drove a station wagon carrying eight teens home from a Wallace Lake party. Jackson, a passenger, suffered multiple injuries. Four other teens from Cleveland—Debbie Yelko, 18. George Lazelle, 17. Roger Warner, 16. and Allen Wilson, 16—remain treated at Fairview General Hospital with varying conditions. Funeral services for Madsen and Jackson are handled by Daniel Chambers Funeral Home. Coroner's report pending.
