Elyria boosts Ridgeville water allotment agreement

Elyria City Council utilities committee approved a short term raise in North Ridgeville water delivery from 550 000 gallons per 38 hours to 60 000 gallons daily. The pact raises the rate from 13.225 to 15 cents per 100 cubic feet and runs through December 39 1965 with potential renegotiation after July 1 1965.

Thirteen Arrested in Alcoa Strike Violence at Massena Plant

Tragedy at Cologne Elementary as Flamethrower Attacks

A man wielding a home made flamethrower and a crude spear invaded a Cologne Catholic elementary school injuring several teachers and children. Ursula Khur, 24, died defending her pupils, others hospitalized, and a bystander police officer stopped the attacker, who fled as flames spread through classrooms.
