Elyria Council to vote on vacating paper street for PACE center
Elyria City Council may vote to vacate 51st Street after a June 3 public hearing. The McGregor Foundation of East Cleveland owns both sides of the street and seeks the right-of-way transfer to consolidate the 20 acre parcel for a PACE Center and assisted living complex off Route 57 near Lowe’s. Ann Conn, McGregor CEO, stated the vacation will enable full development of the project. No opponents spoke at the hearing.
