In 1936 a 13 year old from Cleveland nicknamed Bones watched Jesse Owens pass in a downtown parade and earned Owens' wink. Harrison Dillard, later Baldwin Wallace College alum, earned two 1948 Olympic golds and received an honorary humane letters degree in 1950. Dillard’s track career included 82 straight wins, two Olympic golds, and 14 AAU titles, plus the Sullivan Award in 1955.
