Carver makes clocks in Nantucket shop
Lithuanian born Michael Nosalius, 55, turned to wood carving after losing his silk and cotton weave job. He now displays two eight-foot, 200-pound wooden grandfather clocks with thousands of tiny mechanical parts as his centerpiece. Nantucket reveals aging trends with 13 percent of residents over 70 and a permanent population around 3,000.
