Warde H. Greene a 34 year old reporter for the Cleveland Press died after his car skidded and overturned near Edgewater Park. He suffered a fractured skull and died at Fairview Park Hospital about 45 minutes after the accident. Survived by widow Mildred and three sons Mervyn Allan and Richard.
Alvin Waldman aged 77 of Akron died at St. Vincent's hospital as a second victim of the automobile train crash at the Woodville road crossing of the New York Central railroad near Milbury Ohio ten miles east of Toledo. Mrs J Franklin Crile of Akron died of injuries, while Mrs Waldman lay in East Line hospital. Crile and Waldman were among the injured in the Wednesday crash.
In Oak Harbor Ohio near midnight a motorcycle collision with an automobile left George Thraves 17 fatally injured and die en route to Pool Hospital while fellow rider Stephen Dach 17 suffered serious injuries. The auto driver Carl Faszk ie 18 from Port Clinton escaped unharmed. Thraves was a Ross High School junior and football player while Dach belonged to Fremont High School band.
Ridgeville Grange will hold its regular meeting Tuesday June 13 with a large attendance desired. A class of nine will be initiated in the third and fourth degrees. The degree work will be performed by the new degree team. Lunch will be served.
The body of Elijah Cramblett, 65, was found today near his Gilmore residence following the discovery yesterday of his wife. Authorities report he ended his life with a shotgun.
