County Sanitary Aide Backs Water Sales Beyond Elyria

County Sanitary Engineer Lester Osborne urged Elyria to sell water to Ridgeville and nearby areas, citing about 90 600 dollars annual gross income for the water department. He noted 10 000 from Ridgeville, 20 000 from Amherst Water Co., 10 000 hydrant rentals, 42 000 from outside consumers, 1 650 for County Home, and 7 000 from private lines. Outside sales would not threaten city supply, and annexation beyond the Bendix Westinghouse plant should be cautious. The plan aims to ease water debt while noting city boundary considerations.
