Hagman starred in Jeannie before Dallas and other TV roles
Q A clarifies Hagman did not play Jeannie’s master on I Dream of Jeannie. Jeannie ran 1965 to 1970 on NBC with Hagman as Air Force captain and later Dallas star. The piece notes his earlier roles, including The Edge of Night and short runs The Good Life and Here We Go Again. It also confirms Tom Poston’s game show history and David Nelson’s portrayal on Ozzie and Harriet.
