Two Wellington Girls Die in Baumhart Road Crash
Two Wellington sisters Shelby Allen eighteen and Shirley Allen nineteen were killed when a car driven by Cecil Strader eighteen went out of control on Baumhart Road near State Rt. 10 and struck a tree. Strader remained in guarded condition with a skull fracture at Oberlin’s Allen Memorial Hospital. The 1963 convertible had been bought hours earlier after another collision with Jay Swiers.
