Man jailed for Ford threats in Miami case

Michael Lance Carvin, 21, convicted of seven counts of threatening President Ford and other figures, was ordered by U S District Judge James Lawrence King to undergo 90 days of psychiatric evaluation in a federal prison. He was captured in Beachville, Fla after a cross state flight, jailed overnight, and faced possible 34 year sentence.
