Lorain Countians to receive Oberlin degrees
Twenty three Lorain County seniors from Oberlin College will graduate at the 104th commencement on June 8. Of these 19 are Oberlin residents and 4 from Elyria. Among graduates are Elizabeth Chapman and two Bachelor of Music degree recipients Charlotte Landeen and Martha Heinrich. Several others will receive the AB and School Music degrees. Five Oberlin residents also earn Master’s degrees in the 104th commencement.

Four Elyria Pastors to Take Parts in Baccalaureate
Elyria High School will stage its baccalaureate tomorrow night at 7 30 at First Congregational Church for the second largest class in the city's history. Twenty three graduates will march in caps and gowns as the service opens with a processional. Dr J L Urich of Emmanuel Lutheran Church will deliver the sermon. Dr E J Bond of First M E Church will give the invocation and benediction. Rev A E Kemp of Second Congregational Church will read Scripture and lead the prayer, while Rev Will J Foster of Church of Christ will present the offering. The program also features two anthems by the high school a cappella choir directed by J Martin Beck and a congregation hymn. Proceeds from the offering go to a student loan fund administered by the Elyria Ministerial Association, now nearing $1000 with over half loaned to college students from Elyria. Loans are available to junior and senior college students. Admission is by ticket from 7 to 7 15 with remaining seats open after 7 15.

Baby Recovers At Oberlin Life Saved By Fireman
Thomas Greene, 21 months, sick with pneumonia and measles, improved at Allen Memorial Hospital Oberlin Ohio after a 30 mile ride in a car loaned by a friend. Accident Victim To Be Buried At The County's Expense
An unidentified pedestrian killed by a car on Lake road west of Lorain last Monday night will be buried at county expense. Fingerprints to Washington yielded no match. Deputy Sheriff Samuel Paosa took a photo and burial was by The Schwarts Funeral Home in Lorain. The county provides seventy two dollar burials.
