Missing tintype returns to Oberlin woman's photo saga
Mrs. Daisy Jones of 332 West Fourth Street recalls sending a tintype to a Bellevue photographer in 1913 for enlargement. After decades of hope and a 1914 letter, the tintype resurfaced this week with the photo and old correspondence found by a Bellevue resident who had moved into a house with five tenants since 1915.

Do-X Doomed? German Seaplane Crashes Near Cape Verde

Plans near completion for big Knights of St John convention
Plans for the twenty seventh annual convention of the Cleveland Toledo Grand Commandery of the Knights of St John neared completion as the executive committee met at the Hotel Newell to arrange events. A parade and open drills at Ely Stadium Sunday will feature teams from Northern Ohio and a drum corps from Elyria American Legion. Nearly a thousand Knights and Ladies in uniform will participate. An official convention garage on Broad street is arranged. The event opens Saturday night with a reception at the Elks Club and a Mass at St Marys. A Requiem High Mass Monday precedes the business session at St Marys Hall and the convention close.

County Health Budget Cut by Budget Commission
The County Board of Health budget for 1932 was reduced by $2,000 by the county budget commission in a morning meeting with Health Commissioner Dr. C D Bar rett and other members. The health board had requested $23,000 with an anticipated $1,740 state subsidy and a year end balance of about $1,650. last year funding was $21,000 plus a $1,740 subsidy and about $2,000 carried balance.

Southwestern To Move Rails At Wellington
J A Nestor, superintendent, announced removal of rails on the Cleve land Southwestern Railway between Wellington and Elyria to start around July 1. The 17 mile division will take about five weeks. Rail removal may affect Middle Avenue in Elyria if rails laid in pavement are torn up.
