Storms Bring Rain as Lorain County Hit by Severe Weather

A fierce thunderstorm downed trees and power lines in Lorain County, leaving about 2,000 Elyria residents without power at one point and affecting 460 customers later. Ohio Edison restored power by 10 p.m. Most of the county received near an inch of rain, with pea-sized hail reported.
