Mystery 1906 Naps Photograph Identifies Cleveland Players
In 1906 at a rummage sale Eugene Acord of 539 Grafton Road found a large framed photo of the Cleveland Major League team nicknamed the Naps under manager Napoleon Lajoie. He bought it and seeks help to identify the players whose names are on the back. Chronicle-Telegram sports department is asked to provide identifications without risking damage to the display.
