Chuck Slusarczyk known as The Polish Pilot plans the Curtiss Flight II from Edgewater Park Cleveland to Cedar Point on Aug 26. The 65 mile overwater flight recreates Glenn Curtiss 1910 route for Lake Erie audience, with 12 hp engine and 137 pound Easy Riser craft.

LaGrange Youth Drowns At Clare-Mar Lake
Leonard Sears reports that 17 year old Steve Bennett of LaGrange drowned Sunday at Clare-Mar Lake in Huntington Township Lorain County. Sheriff divers recovered Bennett around 10 14 a m after several hours of searching. Sears said Bennett disappeared about 1 15 p m while swimming with four friends and did not attract lifeguards attention.
