Bolivian Troops Take Two Paraguayan Blockhouses

Oklahoma City reporting four persons were near death and about 200 ill after eating stale sandwiches donated to a community camp relief center. Firemen Save Collie From House Fire on Lake Avenue
Volunteer firefighters battled a blaze at L. J. Guisinger at Stop 5 Lake Avenue around 8:30 pm. Smoke poured from windows as flames scorched the rear wall. General city health shows solid gains in week
The board of health reported improved general health in the city with only two measles and three whooping cough cases in the past week. Over the month there were 16 measles and 21 whooping cough cases, while nurses logged 101 infant welfare visits, 50 bedside visits, 126 measles visits, and 152 for whooping cough. Food inspections totaled about 300, with 45 quarts raspberries and other items condemned. Cascade Park and YMCA pool water tests by City Chemist Edward Curtiss were satisfactory.
