Avon man charged with aggravated burglary and assault

Austen York, 19, was arrested after entering a home at 35470 Detroit Road in Avon, assaulting an 18 year old Avon Lake man with a shotgun barrel, firing one shot, and taking a dog. He was arrested in North Ridgeville and held at Lorain County Jail. The incident involved disputes among York and the residents’ friends.
