Car crashes into parked Oberlin utility truck in New Russia Township
LaGrange man Scott Maines, 54, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu west on Parsons Road at 7:25 p.m. when he lost control and struck a legally parked Oberlin Cable Co-Op truck near the Oberlin Water Treatment Plant. The truck worker had his lights on and was finishing a pole repair. no injuries reported. The hood was crushed into the Malibu’s dash, and authorities cited unclear factors including possible distraction.
