Four Troy school board members resign amid overspending scandal

Troy AP reports the city school board members President Joseph Wagner and Robert Baird announce resignations due to a 1.6 million overspend over three years. Two others Nimms and Schlemmer resign Jan 15. Earhart remains. Schlemmer to serve as president until Aug. 11. A continuing 8.5 mill levy is proposed for Aug. 5 to fund the district.
