Beirut car bomb blast devastates east Beirut
A car bomb at 8:28 a.m. in Ein Rummaneh's Snoubra neighborhood killed at least 32 people and injured about 140. Firefighters battled fires in seven apartment blocks, rescuing over 40, as authorities feared several more trapped. The attack, the sixth and deadliest in east Beirut this year, caused massive destruction and widespread panic.
