Revenue bonds OKd for three service stations
Lorain County Industrial Development Corp approved more than 1.5 million dollars in industrial revenue bonds to back three Independent Oil and Tire Co service stations in Oberlin Elyria and Sheffield. A separate 520 thousand bond issue supports a North Ridgeville Liberty Parkway manufacturing and warehouse facility. The Oberlin site will be at 155 S Main St with 200k for building 91k land 150k equipment. The Sheffield and Oberlin stations will be self serve. The overall plan is tax exempt under IRS provisions to spur development.
