Two Elyrians Injured In Automobiles Week End
Two Elyrians were injured in traffic accidents on city streets over the week end, reports Elyria police. Mrs Adam Pippett, 50, of 130 Spruce Street, suffered head injuries when struck by a car driven by William Vargo of 300 Spruce Street on Lake Avenue Saturday night. She was taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital. Mary Tobicash, 10, of 619 Fifteenth Street, had minor injuries after being struck by Milton Gross of 437 Kenyon Avenue at Broad Street and West Avenue. She was admitted to Elyria Memorial. Several other accidents were reported, with autos damaged on East River and Fourth Streets, Broad Street, and Route 57 near Penfield Junction. No one hurt in a head-on crash at an intersection.
