Century Park Beach revamp under way
Lorain begins a $410000 restoration of Century Park Beach at 1901 E Erie Ave with new breakwalls and 7000 tons of sand. Completion is targeted for summer 1991 as federal and state funds back the project after years of erosion and hazards. Local officials praised advocacy to Congress and the White House for securing backing.
