Tragic Elyria Couple Die In Head On Crash On Rt 20

USS shuts Central Furnaces in Cleveland affecting 300 workers

Fairgrounds Expand to 90 Acres in Wellington Lorain County
Lorain County Agricultural Society expands the Wellington fairgrounds by 54.33 acres, purchased this spring from Stanley Glavich at $2,500 per acre for a total of $135,825. The new land, located west of Pitts Road, will boost the grounds to over 90 acres and may be used for parking this year.
