Farming: You have to like it in Darke County Ohio
In Darke County Ohio Don Bergman 34 runs a 1400 acre combined dairy and grain operation with his father Leander. Rain and drought alike shape yields as Bergman warns of about 20 percent loss in corn and beans. The family labor force includes his wife Karen and three children Brent Shannon Kendca, with Bergman emphasizing the need to increase production per hour to stay profitable.
