Auto Struck By Train At Murray Ridge Crossing
One person was slightly hurt and two others escaped unscathed when a New York Central train struck an auto at the Murray Ridge crossing. John Nelson, his wife Carrie, and Mary Moore were in the car. Pfaudler Prepares for $250000 U S Atomic Energy Vessel Order
The Elyria Division of Pfaudler Company moves to expand equipment for a quarter million dollar order from the U S Atomic Energy Commission. The contract covers fabrication of 32 large solid stainless steel processing vessels for the Hanford Washington plant, with 100 tons of steel to be supplied and each tank holding 5 000 gallons. Fabrication will occur in an assembly department with added space and crane capacity, including one and a half miles of welding to be X rayed.
