Vaughn Rider 19 polled prices at 21 Norwalk stations for 18 months, posting monthly lists at Benedict Ave. He reports prices rose about 20 cents since February 1974, with a typical spread of 7 cents between cheapest and priciest. He estimates saving up to a dollar weekly if he buys the cheapest fuel, though most stations are closed and the associate degree holder plans to pursue college off Norwalk.
