Soap Box Derby Sets Lorain County Final
Thirty three competitors prepare their self built cars for the Lorain County 1970 Soap Box Derby Championship at Milad Chevrolet Amherst. Final inspection runs noon to 4 pm with race on Sunday after 1 pm. Awards include a $500 savings bond and trophies. winner advances to Akron national race on Aug 15 with about $30,000 in Chevrolet scholarships.
