First humans to enter Three Mile Island reactor
Two Nuclear engineers William Behrle VII and Michael Benson prepare to enter the sealed Three Mile Island reactor vessel using radiation suits to photograph interiors and collect samples for a 4 year, 400 million decontamination program. Entry will occur between 6 and 11 am with a two way radio link to a command center.
