$67.4M to spur airport growth around Lorain airport
Lorain County will receive 67.4 million dollars from the All Ohio Future Fund for sewer upgrades and a new wastewater/ water treatment design aimed at developing a 1,000 acre mega site around the Lorain County Regional Airport. Ex Lorain County officer faces dereliction of duty charges
Former Lorain County corrections officer Christopher B. Jackson, 60, of Elyria, fired in April for breaking security protocol in a confrontation with an inmate, has been charged in Elyria Municipal Court with three counts of dereliction of duty, all second degree misdemeanors. Jackson was indicted July 11 in Common Pleas Court and the charges were moved to municipal court for disposition.

Elyria man testifies self defense in slaying case
