Keystone grad earns Kangaroo Care certification
Keystone High School graduate Angela Anikienko now a Kent State University nursing junior completed the United States Institute for Kangaroo Care certification at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in June with a sponsorship. She was one of three BSN students nationwide to earn the certification, aiming to study barriers and perceptions of Kangaroo Care in neonatal units for research and future practice as a neonatal nurse practitioner.

Police recorded a dog became stuck under a porch. neighbors freed it. A well being check on three children found them safe. Tyler Priefer and a juvenile faced aggravated trespassing and aggravated menacing charges after a large fight. Other calls included juvenile disputes, a custody issue, domestic incidents, driving under suspension, theft of a $23 item, a shattered decorative ball valued at $100, and a resident requesting extra patrol due to fear of his daughter's boyfriend.
