Clerk stabbed in chest during Grafton robbery attempt
Police are seeking a teen suspect after a clerk at Village Sweet Shop was stabbed twice in the chest during a robbery near 1 pm Thursday. Marilyn Jankowski, 29, suffered critical injuries and surgery, later reaching Elyria Memorial Hospital in stable condition. She escaped the shop and staggered to the nearby department store for help.
