Hall of Fame For 3 Writers in Pantheon Plan

Paris, The French senate has sent a bill to the Chamber of Deputies to bury three opposition writers in the Pantheon. Jean Michelet, Edger Quinet, and Ernest Renan, all College de France professors, would join the national hall of fame alongside other noted figures. Michelet faced suspensions for liberal views but produced enduring histories. Quinet, a poet and historian, died in 1875 after exile following 1848. Renan, dead in 1892, shifted from ordination to Hebrew studies and philosophy before becoming a professor. The plan aims to move the remains of famous figures to the Pantheon as space allows.
