Sandusky stock cars charm crowd despite light turnout
At Sandusky Speedway last Wednesday a sub 300 crowd watched a close stock car show led by Jerry Owens who claimed his ninth feature win of the year after Ford and GM rivals jostled for position. Owens benefited when Boyd Martin’s Ford slowed with three laps left, letting Weanitzer’s Chevy and Sexton’s Ford close in for a Buick-led victory.
