Avon schools win Ohio Right to Read Medal of Honor
Avon schools receive the 1986 Ohio Right to Read Medal of Honor from the Ohio Department of Education, among 69 rewarded of 750 eligible systems. Principal Joseph Pacchell presented the award to Superintendent Robert Barnhart at the school board meeting, citing Right to Read Week activities and yearlong programs.
