Three crew members were reported missing as Mitsubishi steamship San Pedro moved to transfer about 110 passengers and crew to Yokohama. The Bokuyo Maru was in distress after signaling an SOS from 36 38 N and 159 8 E.

Fifteen Killed In Boiler Explosion On German Ship Berlin

Four Glenwood residents were treated at Allen Hospital Oberlin for minor injuries after a car went out of control and toppled a 10 foot embankment on Route 20 a half mile east of Oberlin at 7:15 this morning. Two Injured In Lake Road Crash Near Lorain Vermilion
Mrs. James Morgan a 28 year old of Vermilion on the Lake and Stewart Hunt 22 of Lorain were injured in a two car collision on Lake road between Lorain and Vermilion. Morgan received facial lacerations at St Josephs Hospital Lorain at 9 PM. Hunt sustained minor lacerations. Morgan rode west in a car driven by Hazel Clevenger 39 of Vermilion on the Lake which collided with an eastbound car driven by Hunt and owned by Leslie Denman of Vermilion on the Lake.
