Elyria detectives hope for a break in the strangling of Christine Gerhart a 19 year old found dead in her apartment. Lt. Lawrence Jezewski said clues may emerge from interviews as investigators ruled out drugs alcohol robbery and sexual assault. Neighbors reported frequent visitors and an unlocked rear side door. The victim’s family lived nearby and one side door leads to a rear parking area.
