Lorain beating case delayed as victim cannot appear
An 18 year old Lorain man Richard Barker faced pre trial delays in municipal court after one victim could not attend the hearing. Barker is charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault in the assault on two 15 year old girls near East River Road. One victim remains in fair condition at St Joseph's Hospital with possible concussion and facial injuries. The investigation paused awaiting test results on potential sexual assault, with the mother delaying release. Barker is jailed on a 200000 dollar bond.
