The North Ridgeville High School Class of 1965 plans a 20th reunion July 27 at St Mary's Hall Elyria with cocktails 6:30 to 7:30 and dinner 7:30 and dancing. a July 2 family picnic at South Central Park from noon to 6 pm is free for class members. A 10K Corn Run and One Mile Fun Run are set for Aug 10 during the North Ridgeville Corn Festival. Parks department offers Welleraeropics exercise classes July 22 to Aug 19 at City Hall. Eye screening at North Ridgeville Senior Center July 23 10 am to 3 pm. The North Ridgeville Arts Council meets Monday 7:30 pm at First Congregational. Ridgeville auditor seeks fire levy to avert budget deficit
North Ridgeville city auditor Chris Costin urges passsage of a two mill fire levy to cover a projected 323000 deficit in the 1986 budget. The levy would fund salaries and equipment for the 21 member fire department and prevent funds from road and service projects being siphoned. The levy would run 1986 through 1990 and generate about 380000 annually.

The Great American Circus comes to Ridgeview Shopping Center on August 1 as a fund raiser for the Elyria Family YMCA youth program. Tiny Tim will appear in two shows 530 pm and 8 pm with acts from around the world including the Flying Wallendas. Advance pledges fund tickets for adults four dollars and four for a four ticket pack for children. At the door tickets are five dollars for adults and four dollars for children.

Riding lessons offered in North Ridgeville for all ages
The Parks and Recreation Department offers horseback riding lessons in North Ridgeville for ages six to adult through mid August. Sessions run Wednesdays July 24 31 and August 7 14 at Holly Hill Riding Stables Avon Lake from 10 to 11 am for youth and 7 to 9 pm for adults. Cost is 60 for six lessons. Wear long pants and hard-soled shoes and bring lunch. Register at the Parks and Recreation Dept between 8 4 pm and 4 30 pm Monday through Friday or call 327 6811 ext 260.
