Trial to Continue in 1980 Maple Heights Case
Judge Norman A. Fuerst ruled that Brandon Lee Flagner’s confessions may be used in the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas trial this week. Prosecutors argued Papesh was kidnapped and murdered. defense contended proof of a crime was lacking. Flagner, 33, formerly of Elyria, is charged with abducting and killing Tiffany Papesh after she went to a Maple Heights store on June 13, 1980.
