Elyria YMCA Camp Offers Summer Fun At Iss See Kes
Camp Iss See Kes on the Vermilion River hosts youth from Wyandotte Iroquois Shawnee and other tribes for a ten day program. Activities include swimming tests cabins medical checks assemblies and orientation with archery handicraft nature study hikes and campfires at the 40 acre site purchased in 1920 and Rotary Hall dining lodge. Underground spring water supplies drinking and kitchen needs from storage tanks totaling 5000 gallons.
