State To Take Bids On Cooper Foster Park Road Project
The State Highway Department will accept bids in two sessions in Columbus on July 27 and 30 for road improvements covering 47 miles at an estimated cost of 1,111,365 dollars. Twelve counties will benefit, with projects including the Butler Hamilton Eaton road on U S 127 and the Lorain Cooper Foster Park Road on County Highway 33, involving revetment, drainage, and surface work near the Black River and Amhermat townships.

The South Amherst village council met in regular session at the town hall with Mayor Henry Garland presiding. All members and officers were present as committees reported favorably.
