A Yale University and University of Hawaii study reviews 40 years of research showing overweight children as young as age three face bullying and bias from peers parents and teachers. The stigma correlates with higher rates of suicidal thoughts high blood pressure and eating disorders, with life quality comparable to cancer patients.
